Raceway Defect Frequency Deviation of Full-Ceramic Ball Bearing Induced by Fit Clearance in Wide Temperature Ranges

Full-ceramic ball bearings are widely applied in wide temperature ranges due to their excellent thermal shock resistance, and the condition monitoring fault diagnosis mainly conducted through spectrum analysis based on defect frequencies. However, outer ring has a spinning motion temperature-related fit clearance, which leads deviation of raceway frequencies, is not conducive diagnosis. In this paper, clearance considered dynamic model, defects added inner raceway. The motions rings calculated analyzed frequency domain, trends peak frequencies with investigated. Simulation experimental results show that speed increases temperature, exhibit obvious ranges. range 500 K, deviations over 3%, identification. provide insights full-ceramic bearing dynamics help status relevant devices.
